Nintendo has announced some brand new features making their way into Pokemon HOME later this year.

The features were teased on the official Pokemon gaming Twitter account early on Wednesday, May 26. In the initial tweet, trainers were told that three major changes would be made: a new calendar feature, additional mechanics for the PokeDex, and a couple of mystery gifts featuring Kanto region starters Bulbasaur and Squirtle.

The features were explained in a follow-up blog post on the Pokemon website news tab published that same day. According to the post, these features are set to launch in June—though no actual date was included. The post expanded on the Catch Calendar, tweaks coming to the PokeDex, and Mystery Gifts.

The Catch Calendar is a new tool that allows trainers to organize their Pokemon based on the dates they caught them–hence the name “Catch Calendar.” Players can also use the calendar to set special dates or anniversaries of their own, such as the first time they met their partner Pokemon, the first time they caught a shiny Pokemon, and even their own birthday.

“This will let you relive memories from your adventures,” the post read.

The changes to the PokeDex will allow trainers to view full models of any Pokemon they’ve registered before. This, it read, might lead to discovering “some new details that you didn’t notice before.”

To commemorate the update, Nintendo is giving away a free Bulbasaur and Squirtle as Mystery Gifts. These two are supposed to complete the starter set after receiving a Charmander post Champion victory in Pokémon Sword/Shield. Both Mystery Gift starters carry the “Gigantamax Factor.”

Pokémon HOME is available on the Nintendo Switch as well as iOS and Android mobile devices.
