The Manhattan loft where Heath Ledger passed away 15 years ago has sold for $$14.25m (AU$21.3m), The Post reports.

Located in Soho, Ledger had rented the 410 sqm unit for roughly $25,000 a month.

Property records obtained by The Post show the home sold last month to an anonymous company in an off-market deal.

Shortly after his passing, the building, built in 1873, was transformed into a condominium and renovated with two stories added.

Made up of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the home has an open-floor plan with a great room, and comes fully furnished.

The home also includes coffered ceilings and cast-iron columns. Before and after photos show that the unit has remained fairly the same with updated features.

In the years since, the chef’s kitchen has been renovated with high-end appliances.

Ledger, who passed away at the age of 28, was found by his housekeeper and a masseuse at around 3:30 in the afternoon — and the news spread fast throughout the city.

Fans gathered at the building the same day to leave flowers and candles under the flag of Ledger’s native Australia.

Paramedics responded when the actor had gone into cardiac arrest. But their attempts to revive him through CPR were unsuccessful.

In 2021, the triple penthouse in the building that was built after his death sold for a then-downtown record of $49m.

A few months before his death, Ledger had finished filming his role as the Joker in “The Dark Knight.”

His performance earned him universal praise — as well as a posthumous Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
