Mark Andrews has “Outside Chance” to Return from Injury

Date:

The Baltimore Ravens just got some great news regarding their All-Pro tight end. Mark Andrews, who suffered a severe ankle injury in a Thursday Night Football win over the Bengals, apparently has an “outside chance” to return if the team makes a deep playoff run.

PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news after a John Harbaugh press conference on Monday.

At first, the ankle injury was thought to be completely season ending for Andrews. In fact, it took all weekend to confirm that there’s a possibility he plays again. No timetable has been set for his return but most pundits believe it could not be earlier than the playoffs at the soonest.

In 10 games this season, Andrews has 45 receptions on 61 targets for 544 yards and six touchdowns. In just two-thirds of the games he played last year, he’s eclipsed his total reception touchdowns from 2022. He received his first All-Pro selection in 2021, when he caught nine touchdowns and eclipsed 1,300 yards receiving.
