Walk of Fame Collectibles

According to the media release, the initiative was in collaboration with the German Moreno Walk of Fame Foundation, and Eastwood City Walk of Fame.

The press release highlighted that the German Moreno Walk of Fame Foundation aims to foster cross-generational awareness of Philippine icons’ contributions, with a curated list of icons including German Moreno, Pilita Corrales, Randy Santiago, and Niño Muhlach.

In partnership with Scarletbox, supporters of the artists honored on the Walk of Fame can now acquire both physical and digital collectibles. These offerings include framed photos enhanced with augmented reality features, premium collectible boxes, digital frames displaying tribute videos, and tangible mementos like clothing, jackets, sunglasses, and other items donated by the celebrities.

The physical collectibles corresponding to each honoree include a long gown worn by Pilita during her US tours, a four-piece suit set designed by Danilo Franco and worn by German Moreno during his tenure on the long-running GMA Supershow, a Funko Pop toy collectible representing Nino, and a unique p5 bill featuring Randy’s caricature, boasting an augmented reality feature.

“For the very first time, avid fans will have the exclusive opportunity to own a piece of their legacy through a silent auction, as their remarkable contributions become treasured and preserved. Each artist will have only one for the special collector,” Scarletbox stated.

The physical Walk of Fame was established almost 19 years ago under Mr. Showman, German Moreno. This initiative honors the significant contributions of notable figures in Philippine music, film, news, radio, social media, athletics, and entertainment.

The statement noted that through the leadership of Federico Moreno President and General Manager of the City of Stars project, and backed by then-Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and entrepreneur Alice Eduardo, the project remains to preserve cultural heritage.
