About Gems

Gems are a secondary currency in Second Piece, alongside gold. You cna see a counter for them on the left of the screen, above your level. They’re useful for buying lots of things, including the following.

• Demon Fruits on Forgotten Isle
• Some items from Chxmei on Chxmei Island.
• Summoning a boss on Niflheim Island.

How To Get Gems

The good news about gems.. you’ll earn them while playing through the normal way. The bad news? If you want a lot of them you’ll need to grind, and it gets more tricky as you level. Here are some of the ways to net yourself gems.

• You will often get awarded one gem on leveling up. Leveling happens at light speed when you start Second Piece, so they don’t take long to stack up.
• Beating bosses often gives you gems. You’ll want to be at a reasonable level for this, as underleveled players will get stomped. The Forgotten Isle bosses all sit at around Level 2500, but you’d ideally want to be quite a bit higher if you want to grind.
