We’ve hand-selected a few of the best jobs available on our careers page at the moment to get the ball rolling…

Workplace Technology Manager, Starling Bank

Starling Bank’s workplace technology team looks after all the technology that their employees use on a daily basis, making sure they have access to everything they need to work efficiently.

It’s very important to Starling Bank that all staff have the best possible experience with the technology they use. As such they invest heavily in the latest workplace technology solutions.

They run a mixture of desktops and laptops, overwhelmingly on macOS, supplemented by a number of SaaS applications. Their computers are managed by a combination of Jamf and Intune and sit on their Meraki network. They have zero physical infrastructure on site barring networking, so you won’t find Active Directory here. Instead, they use SSO and Okta as a directory.

As Workplace Technology Manager, you will ensure delivery of first-class workplace technology support to the business to empower staff to get the best out of their devices and systems. You will need to take a holistic view of the support function and use your experience to optimise current processes, introduce new processes and suggest additional systems where necessary.

Starling are open to applications from across the UK including fully remote. They also offer hybrid working patterns, with a mix of homeworking and time in the office. If you prefer the hybrid option, the preference is that you’re located within a commutable distance to either the London, Southampton or Cardiff office.

Compliance Specialist, Klarna

Klarna was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2005. They now serve over 90 million consumers worldwide, and partner with 250,000 merchants, including some of the world’s leading brands such as H&M, ASOS, IKEA, Adidas, Samsung and Lufthansa. Their offices are spread over 17 different markets, hosted by 5,000+ employees from 100+ nationalities.

Do you want to be part of an international, growing compliance team, working for one of Europe’s largest fintech/disruptor-banks, that wants to revolutionise the financial industry?

Klarna is looking for Compliance Specialists located in London, United Kingdom to strengthen its compliance team. General working experience (1-6 years) within the financial services sector is a requirement. A legal background is beneficial, but most importantly, you should be passionate about compliance.

It is important that you have the ability to prioritise and be comfortable with working independently, but also with others in the team and around the business. You should have integrity, be ambitious, proactive and action oriented, and be an excellent communicator.

Head of International Marketing, Europe, Crowdcube

As a leading European retail investment marketplace, Crowdcube raises finance for Europe’s hottest high-growth businesses by giving investors the opportunity to back businesses they believe in. Having amassed an investor community of over 1 million people, which has funded over 1,000 businesses, Crowdcube was named the most active investor in private equity in 2020.

Crowdcube was inspired by an unshakable belief in entrepreneurs that dream big, push at the edges and want to make a difference. The company’s mission is to democratise investment, helping to fuel the next generation of business who want to leave a mark on the world.

The Head of International Marketing is a brand-new role at Crowdcube. You will spearhead the launch of Crowdcube across European markets including France, Spain and the Nordics. You will also grow and manage a team of local marketing professionals and build a strategy to support both B2B and B2C efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale a brand across new territories and shape a communications strategy for each local market. This role can be based in London, Paris or Barcelona.
