FaZe Clan just got its entire VALORANT roster leaked, a few days ahead of the VCT NA Open qualifiers. The entire squad list, including some big names, was uploaded on the tournament’s official Battlefy page.

FaZe Clan

Although it isn’t anything official, here should be FaZe Clan’s starting five for the beginning of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022.

  • Andrej “babybay” Francisty
  • Chris “LarryBanks” Doyi
  • Xavier “flyuh” Carlson
  • Quan “Dicey” Tran
  • Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski

Babybay, who has been a part of FaZe Clan since August 2020, still remains on the new roster. After playing for 100Thieves in 2020 and 2021, Dicey ends up joining the team. Furthermore, ShoT_UP’s adventure with Immortals Gaming came to a close at the end of 2021.

Thomas “Trippy” Schappy has been the team’s assistant coaching for some time now, there is news regarding Josh “JDM” Marzano taking on the coaching role at FaZe Clan. VALORANT and FaZe Clan fans can expect an announcement soon.

VALORANT Champions Tour

Despite starting out strong, 2021 was tough for FaZe Clan. After all, a second-place finish at the VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters was the best the team could do. FaZe failed to live up to expectations after that, crashing out in the 7-8th place at the VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier, losing 0-2 to Version 1.

Kickstarting NA Valorant esports in 2022, the VCT NA Challengers Open Qualifier is organized by Riot Games in collaboration with Nerd Street Gamers. It starts on January 27 and goes on for five days, featuring 128 teams competing to reach Challengers 1.

The Open Qualifiers event is based on a single-elimination format, in which all matches are best-of-three showdowns. Only the Grand finals features a best-of-five series. Of course, only the top eight will make it to the Challengers 1 event.
