FaZe Clan got battered by Team Spirit in the grand finals of IEM Katowice in ways that baffled the Counter-Strike community. Team Spirit, spearheaded by the prodigious donk who put up numbers like never seen before.

donk has been under the spotlight since his debut at the stage of IEM for dropping a performance that was unimaginable at the tier-1 level until this point. NEO, a legend of the game turned coach for FaZe Clan was asked if donk was the toughest opponent of his prolonged career through CS 1.6, CSGO, and now CS2, to which he had an answer that will melt the hearts of OG fans of the game.

“Donk? No… with all the respect towards every player, f0rest was the only one I faced who made feel me bald after the games,” he wrote on Twitter.

NEO and f0rest have shared big stages on many occasions which have given us some of the most memorable matches for the early era of Counter-Strike esports which explains the respect that NEO has for the Swede. f0rest in his prime years was arguably the best rifler in the world and helped shape one of the best rosters of our generation.

While donk has caused a tectonic shift in the CS scene, it would be too early to judge, not unless he consistently delivers at more events in the future, and with the Major lined up in the coming months, it will be interesting to see how he fairs or how teams manage to adapt to his unreal talents.
