Everslaught Invasion receives a Quest 3 upgrade and gameplay overhaul through the “Resurgence Update.”
Available now, Everslaught Invasion’s update moves away from round-based waves with a new ‘Survivor Mode,’ where you fight an onslaught of continually spawning enemies. That comes with a new ‘Weapon Ability System’ for upgrades like magical damage, blood vials unlock permanent upgrades and there are five difficulty settings available. Detailed in a press release, Everslaught Invasion’s latest update adds support for seven new languages, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Russian. Visual upgrades are included with new VFX & shader effects, alongside higher resolution support on Quest 3.
We enjoyed MobX’s multiplayer action game in our Everslaught Invasion review this May. We considered it an “entertaining hack-n-slash” with “enjoyable co-op” that builds upon the original game well. However, we also criticized its lack of comfort options for such an intense experience and said Invasion’s “repetitive elements” made it “better suited to short sessions.”
Everslaught Invasion is available now on the Meta Quest platform. Fast Travel Games informed UploadVR that the Resurgence Update is also coming to the Pico edition soon, though an exact release date is unconfirmed.
