Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance has accused billionaire Elon Musk of negatively impacting the cryptocurrency market “irresponsibly”.

CZ Accuses Elon Musk of Market Manipulation

Shortly after Elon Musk’s latest Bitcoin meme, the CEO of Binance cryptocurrency exchange, Changpeng Zhao (CZ) possibly shaded the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, saying:

“Greater power with great responsibility, great. Great power with random “humor”, not great, and not funny.”

Responding to this, the CEO of Tron blockchain, Justin Sun even went on to tag Musk within the tweet, although Musk is yet to respond back to CZ.

Tweets that hurt other people’s finances are not funny, and irresponsible.

He later goes on to accuse Musk of being irresponsible indicating that many crypto investors are losing their investments due to him negatively influencing the crypto market.

He later advises traders not to fall for “market manipulation” driven by Elon Musk’s irresponsible tweet.

In a final tweet, CZ advises investors not to blindly follow in the steps of big billionaires, particularly Elon Musk, if they want to be a billionaire themselves:

“I know zero rich people that became rich because they did things according to other rich people’s tweets. Let that sink in.”

If you follow a rich crazy randomly swinging person’s tweets to trade, you will end up … not rich.

CZ Points Out Elon Musk’s Inconsistencies on Bitcoin

This is not the first time, the CEO of Binance has taken a jibe towards Elon Musk. Earlier, on May 31, CZ mocked the Tesla CEO’ opinion that Bitcoin is not environmentally unsafe, saying:

“When you use electricity to run cars, it’s environmentally friendly. When you use electricity to run the most efficient financial networks in the world, it’s an environmental concern.”

For instance, Tesla is the second-largest holder of Bitcoin in the world, and on the other, it stopped accepting them as payment owing to its mining negatively impacting the environment. The contradiction surely did not go unnoticed by the founder of one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges.
