Kai ‘KaiFIFA’ Harris came out on top in the selection process and will kick off the tournament with

and now represents Wolves in the ePremier League.
The eight finalists will compete for the title and a share of the $100,000 prize pot at a live event in
July.

Kai Harris said: “Representing Cymru in the eEuros is an absolute honour and a dream come true for
me. It’s the first time Cymru are going to be involved with EAFC which is a massive step forward, and emphasises how much of an opportunity this really is. We have a strong squad and it’s a real chance to showcase the talent we have on a European stage. It fills me with immense pride and responsibility to wear the red dragon on my chest virtually, so hopefully we will be able to put a good performance in and achieve qualification by topping the group.”

John Jackson, CEO of Esports Wales, said: “Having Cerith Dennis as our game manager has helped
streamline the selection process for this year’s tournament. We have run the Welsh Masters and believe we have selected the best four players in Wales for EA Sports FC. We have a strong squad going into the eEuros and we’re looking forward to showcasing what Wales can do.”

Sam Turkbas, Commissioner & Senior Director, Football Esports at EA Sports said: “We are delighted
that EA Sports FC 24 will power the UEFA eEURO 2024 competition.

This all-new tournament combines the legacy of over 60 years of UEFA EURO competition with the exciting world of esports, giving European players the opportunity to represent their country in an authentic, national team competition, and be crowned European champion.”
