Cyberpunk 2077 is now fully upgraded on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a whole slew of new features and updates, bringing 4K 60FPS, alongside ray-tracing and other new additions. If you already own a copy on PS4, you can upgrade it to the PS5 version right now for free.
If you haven’t yet tried the game out, there’s a new free trial that will allow you to play 5 hours of the game (but expires after 30 days). Not only that, but you can currently buy the full game for just £19.99 on the PlayStation Store right now (see here), or if you want a physical copy, it’s also just £18.90 at Amazon (see here). If you’re on Xbox, the game has also been discounted and can be bought for £24.99 instead (see here).

The free trial is an incentive to try the game, especially those who may have been put off by the many, many reports of Cyberpunk’s disastrous launch – which led to the game being pulled from the PS Store, CDPR being forced to settle a lawsuit with unhappy investors, and the delay of these upgrades.
If you are a fan of the game after your 5-hour trial, this sale for PS5 and Xbox is certainly no coincidence. But, it does mean you can keep exploring Night City for a lot less than buying the game full price. Your save progress will also transfer over from the trial.
