After following the heroes’ stories in Harry Potter for so many years, we now know and love the heroes of the Wizarding World. However, we’ve all secretly wanted to try our hands at dark magic and see it in action.

The great news for fans is that it looks like you’ll be able to have complete control over your path in Hogwarts Legacy. This means you’ll be able to choose the dark side, and look to further the cause of the villains if you decide to.

There will of course be consequences to all of this, but how it will affect your overall story remains to be seen.

Can you use Avada Kedavra and the Unforgivable Curses?

Thanks to recent gameplay reveals, we now know that the three unforgivable curses will be in the roster of spells in Hogwarts Legacy. This is a pretty big deal, as all three are very powerful spells that can hugely influence the story.

Since these spells are so advanced, we expect that you’ll receive them later on in the game, if you decide. The consequences for them, and any kind of morality system, remain to be seen once the game launches.
