Three months after it opened the membership applications, the Philippine Blockchain Council (BCP) proudly inducted 54 individual and four corporate members into its ranks during the Block Awards at the Philippine Blockchain Week last September. 

BCP New Members

According to the BCP, as part of the membership benefits, individuals and corporates will gain exclusive benefits such as a free pass to Blockchain Week, regular updates on the latest activities, participation in discussions that shape recommendations to government bodies, and more.

The BCP expressed its enthusiasm for welcoming new members, stating that it is committed to spreading awareness and improving the regulatory framework for blockchain technology in the Philippines. 

In June, the council invited interested individuals and corporations to apply for membership. The council offers two membership types: individual and corporation, with both individuals and the corporations they lead eligible for simultaneous membership. The membership fees are ₱1,000 for individuals and ₱10,000 for corporations.

To apply, interested parties must complete an application form, providing personal details, contact information, and details about their involvement in Web3 or blockchain. Upon approval, members must pay the corresponding fees.

BCP Christmas Fellowship

Following this, the council is gearing up for a festive event to celebrate its growing community. 

The upcoming BCP Christmas Fellowship is open to members and those interested in joining the council. The event will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at a venue in Makati.
