AECT 2023 CONVENTION DATES AND REGISTRATION RATES
As many of you know, with the aid of our hotel contracting consultant, AECT has been working hard on renegotiating our 2023 hotel contract in Orlando, Florida with DoubleTree Orlando in order to try to provide a realignment of missed opportunities. We are pleased to announce that we now have a completely renegotiated and signed new agreement with Double Tree Orlando that meets the needs of both parties. That said, as part of the negotiation, we did agree with the hotel to move the dates of our convention back by one day. With this in mind, the updated dates of the 2023 AECT centennial convention will now be Sunday 10/15/23 – Thursday 10/19/23. So please set your calendars accordingly.
- Please note, as part of the contract renegotiation, AECT was able to secure a specialized reduced AECT student hotel rate of $129 per night from Saturday October 14 – Thursday October 19, 2023. However, seats are limited, with only about 50 available per day — and it is first comes first served. With that in mind, book soon to be sure to get your reduced student rate at the hotel!
Lastly, now that the hotel contract is finalized, please see below for the registration pricing for the 2023 convention. Early Bird registration pricing will begin in May and end July 31, 2023. We look forward to seeing you at the DoubleTree in Orlando, Florida!
