League of Legends Patch 11.19 will go live on Wednesday, Sept. 22 and with it should be the highly anticipated Vex. Vex is Riot Game’s newest confirmed champion, a gloomy yordle mage. With Vex coming out so soon, people want to know what champions synergize with her best. Here are the five best champions to pair with Vex in League of Legends.

Lee Sin is a great jungler for Vex since he can stick to his enemies easily. With this, Vex has great follow up by negating enemy dashes and dealing the rest of the damage needed to confirm a kill.
Leona can lock down enemies perfectly, allowing Vex to follow up with her ultimate and damage. A well executed Leona gank is a strong combination to pair with Vex’s damage and utility.
Jarvan IV is a natural pair with Vex as his biggest counter is dashes. Traditionally, champions that can simply dash or blink out of Jarvan’s ultimate are strong picks against him, but with Vex that is no longer the case.
Vex would much rather have a Malphite on her team rather than against her. Malphite can soak up damage for a long period of time, allowing Vex to get multiple ability rotations off and deal lots of damage. Her fear will also allow Malphite players to easily follow up with his ultimate.
Xin Zhao is another great pick to synergize with Vex. He can lock down targets for Vex to easily follow up on or sweep enemies away to protect the immobile yordle mage. Overall, the two work well together to create pressure and secure kills.
