Kuro Games had earlier announced the new character, Yinlin would be released on June 12th, 2024. However, they would later change their schedule and announce that Yinlin would be released earlier than planned. Kuro Games have confirmed that Yinlin would be released on June 6th, 2024. This means that Jiyan’s banner would be ending earlier than planned to make way for Yinlin’s banner.
Here is the introduction of Yinlin as mentioned on Wuthering Waves’ official website: “Previously known as an outstanding Jinzhou Patroller, Yinlin is steady and reliable, yet harbors hidden depths of secrets. She excels at exploiting resources at her disposal to uncover lurking crimes. Beneath her aloof and flamboyant exterior, Yinlin possesses a heart of gold, reserved only for those she deems trustworthy.”
How useful is Yinlin in Wuthering Waves?
Kuro Games have designed Yinlin to take on dual roles as a support and DPS in combat. Her skills and attacks are all based on her puppet called Zapstring. In certain situations, her abilities solidify her usefulness even when she is not in combat. Yinlin’s Punishment Mark ability makes her stand out as once multiple enemies are marked, dealing damage to any one of the enemy would result in damage to all other marked enemies.
Yinlin’s unique abilities have resulted in a surge in demand for her. All we have to do now is to wait till June 6th, 2024. Her banner will be available till the next update is released for Wuthering Waves on June 28th, 2024.
