Cái tên lớn nhất trong lĩnh vực đầu tư mạo hiểm ở Thung lũng Silicon trong nửa thế kỷ qua là Sequoia. Và cái tên lớn nhất trong làng fintech châu Âu chính là Klarna.

Hai đối thủ nặng ký này đã ở giữa một bộ phim truyền hình trong vài tuần qua, nội dung giống như một tập của phim Succession (không có kịch tính gia đình).

Mọi người đều biết rằng hai người sáng lập Klarna, Sebastian Siemiatkowski và Victor Jacobsson, không đồng tình. Cựu đối tác của Sequoia và tỷ phú Thung lũng Silicon Michael Moritz, đồng minh của Siemiatkowski, đã giữ chức Chủ tịch Klarna từ năm 2020.
