After a short delay and lots of questions, the latest Sims pack finally launched.

This is hopefully the start of an interesting year for The Sims. We still don’t have any confirmation of a roadmap so they could go anywhere next.

Sims 4 Wedding Pack Delayed

The Sims Wedding Pack was originally planned to not release in Russian due to its depictions of homosexuality. This caused an uproar and, now, the pack is coming to every region with all its original material. To do so, they have had to delay the release until February 23rd.

Although we may have to wait a little longer, The Sims’ developers have made a stand against homophobia, one that will hopefully continue into their future packs.

The Sims My Wedding Stories Game Pack is due to arrive on February 23rd, mere days from now. This is the first major game pack release of the year and it seems the team aren’t done just yet.

This all being said, we haven’t seen an official road map just yet. This could mean they’re keeping the year’s plans under wraps. This could possibly hint that they will announce the next Sims game this year. We are due to see 5 Sims at some point, hopefully, it is this year.

What is The Sims My Wedding Stories?

The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories Game Pack brings marriage and all the drama that comes with that, to the game. The trailer above focuses on one couple who get married, only to realise they aren’t similar at all, allowing someone else to swoop in and save the day.

It’s a dramatised take on the formula, that should allow organic stories to sprout and interesting dynamics to follow. If you like the idea of living out a soap opera or really struggling to spin all the plates that come with adulthood, The Sims has you covered.
