Tribes of Midgard, the latest cooperative Viking-themed title, has been revealed by Gearbox Software at E3 2021.
Tribes of Midgard is a 10-player co-op action roleplaying game (RPG) that pits players against beasts from Hel as they attempt to level up, build their village, and protect the seed of the World Tree, Yggdrasil, from harm. While the daytime is safe for exploration and gathering, things shift drastically during the night.

Tribes of Midgard releases on the PlayStation 4/5 and Steam on July 27, 2021.
Players join the game as an almost-naked Einherjar and are tasked with protecting the precious seed of the World Tree, Yggdrasil, from several threats. They can go on quests during the day to level up, gather supplies, and build better defenses for both their settlement and themselves.
However, at night, they’ll have to put their skills to the test to protect the seed against aggressive assaults from the creatures of Hel—including trolls, beasts, and more. The most terrifying of all, however, are the giants, who only spawn every few days to deal devastating amounts of damage.
