This Week’s Hearthstone Tavern Brawl: Blood Magic

Date:

It is another week with another brawl in our favorite tavern. While “Blood Magic” has been around in the past, we had some new cards added into the pool that we can easily take advantage of to bring down our opponents.

What is the brawl about?

The brawl rules are pretty simple as all spells require health instead of mana as their cost to be cast. This means that you can quickly draw out your deck on the first turn if you built it correctly and potentially finish off your opponent. Managing spells that draw more cards, heal your face and deal damage to the opponent’s face is the key to victory, and some of the Hearthstone top decks for this brawl are as follows.

Plantim’s Blood Magic Druid

Druid has been quite a beast when it comes to being the master of all three elements required to win this brawl, especially with cards like Celestial Alignment that many esports betting fans are probably familiar with since it has been troublesome in tournaments since its release. Once you draw enough cards to reduce the cost of everything to 1, you are pretty much golden, as you can easily draw the rest of your deck while armoring yourself up. Starting off the game with Celestial Alignment and Ultimate Infestation is a guaranteed victory.

Ragginowski’s Blood Magic Demon Hunter

While not as optimal as the druid deck, the Demon Hunter is another class that can quickly draw out everything they need to win the game. You can easily draw the necessary cards to win with spells like Skull of Gul’dan, Glide, Acrobatics, Spectral Sight, and Double Jump. If you are worried about taking damage on your turn, do not worry, as Blur will negate the health cost of all spells in your deck, which is quite overpowered in this brawl.

Plantim’s Blood Magic Hunter

Of course, the Hunter is another deck that is great at going face with free mana spells. Compared to the first two options, it is a bit underwhelming if you do not get lucky with your opening hand, but if you do, pulling off the first turn kill is much easier. This is especially the case if you get Nagrand Slam and Kill Commands in your hand with a bit of card draw too.

Plantim’s Blood Magic Paladin

Last but not least, we have an aggressive Paladin deck that, like Hunter, uses minions to win the game. The idea is to cheese out a Reckless Rocketeer from the deck for seven health with Commencement and then use whatever other cards you may find in your hand to give it loads of attack and hopefully finish the game in a single turn. As there are various cards that also give card draw as an additional effect, such as Lay on Hands, Holy Wrath, Hammer of Wrath, and Hand of A’dal, you should have no issues in closing out the game.
