The participants for the next Malta Vibes Knockout Series were announced today, with 32 teams participating in stage one, the top eight of which will advance to face the eight teams directly seeded into stage two. The event, which uses a single elimination best-of-three format, will take place October 11-21 and features a $50,000 prize pool.
As with every Malta Vibes Knockout Series event, the team list features a range of names from across the world, ranging from academy squads to veterans of the scene.
Many eyes will be on deko, the shining light of the last Malta Vibes event
Of the notable names featuring in stage one we have INDE IRAE fresh off an impressive performance at IEM Fall CIS and the AURA squad that recently featured at IEM Fall EU.
Making it directly to stage two are names such as Brazilian Major representatives Sharks, FunPlus Phoenix who failed to secure a spot in Stockholm, the winners of previous Malta Vibes tournament1WIN, and Swedish veterans Dignitas.
