Sony may be preparing a big PSVR2 push, presumably later this year, but that doesn’t mean it’s forgotten its existing virtual reality headset. A new promotional trailer published on YouTube earlier today showcases the vibrant software slate on the ageing accessory – even five years after its initial release.
The trailer mixes some recent releases, like After the Fall and Song in the Smoke, with a handful of upcoming titles: Wanderer, Zenith: The Last City, and Moss: Book II. To be fair, the device has been well supplied with software throughout its half-decade history, so you really can’t complain if you were an early-adopter of this eye-popping tech.
Phwoar, it’s a looker! Dying Light 2 launches early next month on the PlayStation 5, and it’s a stunner to say the least. As has become common with most new-gen releases, there’ll be a number of visual configurations for you to flit between at launch, including a quality option with ray-tracing and a full 4K alternative.
We imagine the majority of you will plump up for performance mode, which sacrifices some fidelity for that sweet 60 frames-per-second. Either way, you’ll be able to toggle between these settings at will, and settle upon one that suits your needs. So, what will it be? Pick your preferred option in the comments section below.
Exactly one week out from the PlayStation 5 release of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Sony has shared the launch trailer that depicts Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in their remastered glory. As you can probably imagine, footage focuses on memorable clips from the two titles, but if you haven't played either before, you might want to avoid watching. There are one or two scenes that can be considered spoilers.
In case you need reminding, there is a paid PS4 to PS5 upgrade option. If you own the PS4 versions of either A Thief's End or The Lost Legacy, the upgrade will cost you £10/$10. You only need to have one of them — if you don't own the other, you get it for free as part of the PS5 collection. The PS Plus versions aren't included in this offer, however. Standalone, the remastered collection costs £44.99/$49.99.
