While organisers ESA continue to dilly-dally over the ongoing relevance of the obviously defunct convention, publishers are plotting their own independent alternatives. One of those companies, allegedly, is Ubisoft, as per industry know-it-all Tom Henderson, writing for XFire.

Apparently the French publisher is preparing a juggernaut showcase, which will potentially include updates on almost 20 (!!!) different games. There’s no word on when this will take place – it sounds like world events could play a big part in that – but this being Ubisoft, knowledge of the event isn’t the only news.
