The 2021 Video Game Accessibility Awards has just unveiled its list of nominees, with a wide, diverse spread of games celebrated and no single title running away with dozens of nominations.
It's fairly safe to say that whilst Far Cry 5 was still able to provide a more than rounded Far Cry experience, for many fans it didn't quite have the draw of those games which went before it. It did however have a great antagonist in Joseph Seed - the iconic villain of the piece. Today Seed rocks up in the latest Ubisoft adventure with the Far Cry 6 DLC 3 Joseph: Collapse content.
Far Cry 6 will round out its post-launch content offering next week with the final DLC instalment centred around villains from previous entries. We've had Vaas from Far Cry 3, Pagan Min of Far Cry 4 fame, and now it's the turn of cult leader Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5. Titled Collapse, this concluding expansion once again uses the rogue-like elements of the past two DLCs. It's out on 8th February 2022 and is available as part of the season pass or purchasable standalone for £11.99/$14.99. The season pass is on sale on the PS Store, with PS Plus subscribers getting a bigger discount.
The DLC takes us back to Hope County, providing "a unique opportunity for players to tap into Joseph's tortured mind, face off against his former cult followers after his faith has collapsed, and ultimately confront his family members as he struggles to conquer his inner demons".
Joseph: Collapse, the third and final paid DLC episode for Far Cry 6, will launch next Tuesday, 8th February on Xbox One, Xbox X/S, PlayStation 4, PS5, Stadia, and PC.
Far Cry 6's paid post-launch content has focused its aciton on some of the series' most infamous villains, and Ubisoft is capping off its previous two DLCs, Vaas: Insanity and Pagan: Control - which built adventures around Far Cry 3's Vaas Montenegro and Far Cry 4's Pagan Min - with a final outing centred on Far Cry 5's Joseph Seed.
The winners of the New York Game Awards 2022 have been announced, with Psychonauts 2 scoring the top honor after triumphing in the Best Game of the Year category.
People know American actor Danny Trejo best for his film and television roles, but he has also dabbled into the video game sphere on occasion. Back in the 2000s, he voiced the character Umberto Robina in both Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and its prequel, Vice City Stories. In 2010, he played the role of Raul Alfonso Tejada in Fallout: New Vegas. He even made a recent guest appearance in Far Cry 6 as a companion in two free missions added after launch. And now, it looks like Danny Trejo will make his latest guest appearance in OlliOlli World, the anticipated skateboarding game that will finally see a release next week.
According to a press release, Trejo will appear as an in-game character that will host a special sidequest for players to partake in. Although the press release does not mention any specifics regarding what this sidequest will entail, it does say that players will earn a secret cosmetic item if they manage to complete it. Once again, details regarding this cosmetic item...
