AsheMorgan & DMain Corporation won the Urban Renewal award for Midtown Centre — its modern, commercial building in Brisbane’s CBD.
The Award for Marketing went to Sekisui House Australia for Altura at West Village, and Altum Property Group won the best Medium Density Development for Parkridge Noosa.
The UDIA National Awards for Excellence 2023 were announced on Thursday night at a gala dinner in Perth.
UDIA national president Maxwell Shifman said the awards were highly regarded across the industry, and judging the entries took a great deal of time and dedication.
“This year, I was proud to see the winners from each state recognised for their ability to innovate and adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace and reflect the outstanding individual qualities present in our membership,” Mr Shifman said.
Aria Property development manager Brent Liddell said it was an honour to have the project recognised by one of the industry’s most reputable associations.
“Being recognised by the UDIA is a testament to Aria Property’s commitment to continually achieve the best outcome,” he said.
“Everything at TreeHouse is designed to support better living, from state-of-the-art amenities to the views and integration of Davies Park, which flow through to the details of the building.”
TreeHouse is a 12-storey, 90-apartment building at 111 Jane Street that merges lush greenery with architecture, inspired by the green buildings found throughout Singapore.
Each apartment balcony sits adjacent to a garden or tree canopy, while the building’s facade features more than 70 trees that bloom purple in late summer.
All apartments were sold off-the-plan, with prices ranging from $389,000 to $1.5m.
Since completion in 2021, a number of apartments have experienced significant capital growth, with returns of between 15 per cent and 40 per cent.
