Saila holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Helsinki and considers the field of compliance her professional passion. She describes herself as a dialogue-oriented and business-friendly compliance professional.
“I’m very much looking forward to getting to work with everyone at Invesdor. The company is a technical pioneer in its field with client companies that set forward interesting business concepts – and the team seems really great!” says Saila. “I’m also excited to be working in the finance and fintech sector again. Regulatory compliance is an integral part of this business. The chance to dig deep into the related legal and regulatory themes and work with both familiar and new professional challenges was what really drew me to this position.”
Another aspect that Invesdor’s new Head of Legal and Compliance is looking forward to is the growth company culture. Having worked in large corporations, Saila is familiar with operating in a framework of established policy; at Invesdor, she is eager to be at the center of developing the culture.
“Invesdor is still a young, growing company that’s now taking big steps in going cross-border. That is an opportunity to plan and build excellent policies and processes to support and maintain the best possible work and management culture”, she says.
