Family-owned Ron Brooks Motor Group has been appointed the Suzuki sales and service franchise for the Derby and Burton area.
The business which has partnered with Toyota for over 50 years and Suzuki now for 10 years, is expanding it footprint with the opening of the second Suzuki Site on Pentagon Island on May 1 which will coincide with the All-New Suzuki Swift launch.
As well as significant investment in the 2-acre site, Ron Brooks Motor Group will initially create 15 jobs which could grow to 50 jobs in the medium term as part of its ambition to exceed £100m turnover as a business.
Chairman and managing director Kevin Slack said: “We’re delighted to also announce the opening of our new site on Pentagon Island, just a ball throw from the County Ground. This new site expands our group’s portfolio and to be able to have presence in Derby excites us all.”
