A renovated Crafers home is offering a luxe family lifestyle in the heart of the Hills.

It was a case of love at first sight for owners Karmin and Shawn Van Groesen when they bought their 16 The Crescent home in 2019, with Mrs Van Groesen saying they had no intention of buying at the time.

“My husband and I were staying at Mount Lofty House for our 16th wedding anniversary and I was sitting at breakfast reading the Real Estate Magazine of The Advertiser and a picture of this house stood out to me,” she says.

“As it was just down the road we went and had a look and just fell in love.

“We had never planned to leave our other house, but when we arrived the gardens were so breathtaking, we’d decided we were going to buy it before we even got to the house.”

“We’ve really loved it here,” Mrs Van Groesen says.

“The house is amazing and has been brilliant for our family, but the bird life to me is really special.

“We love watching the rainbow lorikeets, kookaburras, blue fairy wrens and ducklings.”
