Qatar Airways to Launch Flights to Santorini

Qatar Airways Starting on June 7th, Qatar Airways will begin flying to Santorini, Greece. Along with Athens and Mykonos, this will be the third Greek destination for Qatar Airways. In the same week, the airline will resume service to Mykonos.

Flights to Santorini beginning in June

From June 7th, Qatar Airways will provide three weekly flights between Doha and Santorini. Santorini is the airline’s third Greek destination, with flights scheduled every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Akbar Al Baker, the CEO of Qatar Airways, stated, “We’re excited to welcome Santorini to our worldwide network in 2022, where it will join Athens and Mykonos as the country’s third gateway. Our connection with Greece will be strengthened even more as a result of this expansion.” Flights on this route will be operated by Qatar’s Airbus A320 fleet. The plane has 144 seats in total, including 12 in business class and 132 in economy.

According to Qatar Airways, “With improved connection, consumers may depart Australia on Friday night and arrive in Santorini on Saturday afternoon,” says the company. More flights to Mykonos Qatar Airways will restore its seasonal service to the Greek island of Mykonos during the same week. During the summer, the airline expects to provide four weekly flights: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

During the summer of 2021, the carrier provided a thrice-weekly service to the island.
