Pokemon Day is upon us and as we celebrate the release of the original Pokemon back in 1996, we also prepare for announcements for the future of gaming’s biggest franchise. Now that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have released all its DLC, fans are ready to look towards the chapter.

As the Switch is entering its twilight years, we don’t expect to see another mainline entry any time soon. But rumors have been spreading that there would be a spiritual successor to Pokemon Arceus based on the Johto Region and there were also whispers of a remake of Pokemon Black and White.

Pokemon Presents February 2024 Summary

As part of the Pokemon Day Celebrations, players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be able to challenge mighty raid bosses based on the 3 final evolutions of the original starter Pokemon. These will be available for a limited time starting tomorrow.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Reveal

The Pokemon Company has just revealed the Pokemon Pocket App which aims to bring the popular Pokemon Trading Card Game onto your mobile devices. Now you’ll be able to play the Pokemon TCG on your phone, trade cards with other players, and play online with players around the world.

The game will also feature ‘immersive’ cards which allow players to explore the artwork of certain cards.
