The Philadelphia Fusion signs flex support Min-seok “AimGod” Kwon and off-tank player Jun-ho “Fury” Kim.
The Philadelphia Fusion announce their first signings of the year with the addition of Jun-ho “Fury” Kim and Min-seok “AimGod” Kwon. Both are respectively the first tank and support players signed by the team for the Overwatch League 2022 season.
Fury makes his way back to the Philadelphia Fusion
The first signing of the year is a player well-known by Fusion fans: Jun-ho “Fury” Kim. The Korean off-tank already played with the team back in 2019 and 2020, before joining the Washington Justice for the 2021 Season.

Fury is mainly known for his D.Va play, especially his ability to eat enemy Graviton Surge’s, peel for his teammates and land devastating D.Va bombs. He has been playing in the Overwatch League ever since the Inaugural Season. Fury won the first Inagural Season with London Spitfire and stumbled with the team during the Overwatch League 2019 Season.
He then helped Philadelphia Fusion reach second place in the Overwatch League 2020 Regular Season, before joining the ranks of Washington Justice. Fury didn’t have a stellar run with the team; losing to the Dallas Fuel in the Overwatch League 2021 Playoffs Quarterfinals.
After a year away from the team, Fury is back with the Philadelphia Fusion. Fury is the first tank announced by the team for the upcoming Overwatch League season.
AimGod comes back to the Overwatch League
The second signing of the day for the Philadelphia Fusion is also no stranger to the Overwatch League. Min-seok “AimGod” Kwon is a flex support player we already saw with the Boston Uprising in the Inaugural Season and 2019 Season, and then with Washington Justice in 2020.

After the Washington Justice’s elimination in the North American Playoffs of the Overwatch League 2020 Season, AimGod joined Team CC in the Contenders. He contributed to the team’s third place in the Overwatch Contenders 2021 Season 1: Korea. As well as their victory in the NetEase Esports X Spring 2021 Tournament. However, the team struggled in the 2021 Season 2 of Contenders Korea, falling to fifth place.
AimGod is now back in the Overwatch League, as the first addition to the support line-up of the Philadelphia Fusion.
The current state of Philadelphia Fusion
Shortly before announcing the signing of Fury and AimGod, the Philadelphia Fusion said the team will “remain temporarily located in Seoul, South Korea” for the Overwatch League 2022 Season, just like last year.
The Philadelphia Fusion is already home to three players; team captain and veteran Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee, as well as rookie DPS Jae-hee “MN3” Yoon and Hyun-woo “ZEST” Kim from T1. The Philadelphia Fusion still needs at least one tank and one support to complete its roster.
