The Open Mission Kit in Fortnite challenge is one that many players are wondering how to do at the moment as they try to complete the Week 13 Legendary Quest in Chapter 2 Season 7.
Epic Games and Marigold have tasked players with opening a mission kit, then placing a jammer outside the IO base in one match for Week 13. Here’s how to complete the first step of the Week 13 Legendary Quest.

This challenge is super straightforward and easy to accomplish solo within one game—as long as players know where to go.
First things first, as the challenge directly states, players need to head over to the northeast part of the Lazy Lake POI by the admissions drive-thru entrance to open a mission kit and collect the jammer.
Next, players will need to head over to the Corny Complex POI. The best way to do this is by getting in one of the nearby cars, or using one of the UFOs if you’re lucky.
At the time of writing, Corny Complex is said to be due to be abducted in the coming days, so the layout for completing the second step of challenge might be different for those doing it later.
Once near Corny Complex, players should notice some blue holograms around the POI to show players where they can place the jammer.
After finding one of the jammer spots, simply examine it with the corresponding interact button that pops up to complete the challenge and secure another 45,000 XP for the Battle Pass.
