A new Nintendo Direct will be held tomorrow, June 18, Nintendo has announced. It will air at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM in the UK / 4 PM in Europe. Expect it to cover titles releasing in the latter half of 2024.

This is one of the rare instances in which Nintendo confirmed ahead of time that a new presentation was coming. When president Shuntaro Furukawa said at the start of May that the Switch successor will be announced within the next fiscal year, it was also stated that a Nintendo Direct would air sometime this month. However, the event will focus only on titles for the current Switch.

Nintendo has several months remaining in 2024 in which it could bring various games to its console. After Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD launches at the end of June, it will have no upcoming projects with a concrete release date. Pokemon Legends: Z-A is coming next year while Metroid Prime 4 has no release window whatsoever.
