Night & Dawn Kayn is unique among the skins set for release in the upcoming Night & Dawn League of Legends event. Where the six other skins in the event are split along night and dawn lines, Kayn is able to straddle that line, evoking both night and dawn. Here’s everything you need to know about the skin.
Night & Dawn Kayn’s splash art plays up his being caught between the two poles of light and dark. He’s shown leaping through the air, one arm a frosty blue, the other glowing red. His eyes follow the same color scheme, as do the accents on his pants. Over one shoulder looms the blue Darkin, while over the other stands the fiery Shadow Assassin — an interesting reversal of their usual color schemes.
Riot Games has yet to reveal a price for Night & Dawn Kayn, but it’s likely to be more expensive than the average skin, given that it’s more like three skins in one — it includes visual updates for base Kayn and both his Darkin and Shadow Assassin forms.
Night & Dawn Kayn is set to arrive with the Night & Dawn event that shares its name. That event is scheduled for release in League of Legends Patch 11.19, which hits live servers Sept. 22. The skin should arrive around that date.
When Night & Dawn Kayn hits live servers, players will be able to purchase it through the in-game item shop.
