NewQuest exits Integreon to EagleTree after business expansion, repositioning

Date:

Eagletree Capital has agreed to buy business outsourcing services provider Integreon from fellow private equity house NewQuest Capital Partners.

NewQuest Capital Partners agreed a secondary buyout of the business in 2016 from Actis and LiveIt Investments, three months after closing its $540m third fund.

At that point the company specialised in providing legal, document, business and research services, but NewQuest has expanded out the business to cover litigation, cyber incident response, contracts and compliance, creative, and legal administrative services.

Amit Gupta, partner and head of India and Southeast Asia at NewQuest, “This has been an incredible journey for us.

“We are privileged to have worked closely with [CEO Bob Rowe] and his team over the years in successfully repositioning and growing the business.

“Integreon has established itself as a leading global managed services provider and is well poised to enter its next phase of growth.”

NewQuest collected $1bn of capital from LPs for the final close of its fourth direct secondaries vehicle in 2019.

The Asia-Pacific-focused fund surged past both its $850m initial target and its original $950m hard cap for NewQuest Asia Fund IV.

Eagletree was spun out of Wasserstein Perella back in 2001 and has raised four buyout funds. The firm is currently investing EagleTree Partenrs V, which it closed on $1.118bn early last year.
