Rulebreakers is all about changing up how players operate by shifting their statistics around. It’s one of the more intriguing SBCs in FIFA Ultimate Team considering EA Sports has the opportunity to make less intriguing players more meta through upgrades.

Here’s how to complete the Rulebreakers Verratti SBC in FIFA 22:

A bit expensive overall for Verratti, but this SBC embodies what Rulebreakers should be about. Taking players that lack the needed stats to be high-end and modifying them to reach that level. Ligue 1 already has Seko Fofana and Aurelian Tchouameni as strong defensive midfielders, Verratti carries valuable hard links to Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe, Achraf Hakimi, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr.

Pairing Verratti with either Fofana or Tchouameni makes for a strong midfield pivot. Verratti lacks the base shooting to be a box-to-box midfielder, but his passing, dribbling, defending and physicality are in a great spot.
