Madden NFL 22 allows Early Access to its biggest fans who are willing to shell out a few extra bucks.
EA Sports revealed the highly anticipated cover players, release date, and much more information about Madden 22 through their official social media channels at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17. With Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes now gracing the front of the game, fans are more eager than ever to get into the game.
Fortunately, EA has cleared a few paths to early access for that exact reason.
Players can get Early Access to Madden NFL 22 using two methods:
- Pre-order a special edition—either Dynasty or MVP
- Subscribe to EA Play or EA Play Pro
Pre-ordering the Dynasty or MVP special editions of Madden 22 will give players three full days of early access to the game on Aug. 17. This allows them to scout out the landscape and unique features before the general public.
Subscribing to EA’s paid service, EA Play, gives players a limited Early Access trial on Aug. 12. EA Play subscribers will be able to experience “unique, limited-time Ultimate Team Challenges” and get a 10% discount off an official pre-order purchase.
Meanwhile, EA Play Pro subscribers essentially just get the full game for free on Aug. 12 with all its special bonuses and features already included.
Madden NFL 22 is available on the Xbox One/Series S|X, PlayStation 4/5, Stadia, and PC via Steam. It is currently available for pre-order.
