Fellow walkers of The Path rejoice: the gravelly voice of Geralt you know and love from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is reprising the role in an animated movie coming to Netflix called The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.
The inimitable Doug Cockle will return sometime “late” next year in the film, which will see Geralt investigating a series of amphibious assaults in a seaside village, eventually becoming embroiled in a conflict between humans and merpeople.
Sirens of the Deep is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice. This animated adaptation is being directed by Kang Hei Chul, who also directed Netflix’s previous Witcher flick, Nightmare of the Wolf, which is reassuring.
