Celebrity guest Ryan Serhant, star of Bravo network’s Million Dollar Listing and Sell It Like Serhant, echoed Agami’s outlook for the Clearwater-Dunedin real estate market at the event. “When COVID hit, and given what’s happening with federal and state taxes and what’s happening with people’s desire not to have to be in an office, all of a sudden Florida was put on the international map as one of the best places to live in and invest in. And the demand has been through the roof. My firm has done more business in Florida than we’ve done in New York since September 15th of last year.”

As for the Friends & Family Soirée itself, guests were treated to live entertainment including live bands, a flash mob, and more, all the while following strict CDC guidelines—guests agreed to a Covid notice, attendance was kept to 50% capacity, tables were kept 6 feet apart, hand sanitizer was provided throughout the event, and other required precautions were observed to ensure all attendees remained safe. Guests came away surprised and delighted.

As one event guest stated, “I’m originally from New York—so to see [the expansion] here in Florida during the pandemic, it’s an amazing experience to feel that energy again. People that are leaving New York can feel like they are part of something again. As New York City has been oppressed, they can come to Florida and feel freedom… that’s what this project represents.”
