Epic Games officially welcomed Naomi Osaka into Fortnite’s Icon Series early this morning. The 24-year-old Japanese Tennis superstar joins fellow athletes LeBron James, Neymar Jr., Harry Kane and Marco Ceus as the latest Icon Series member. It’s a monumental moment and opens up the door for more celebrities and athletes to follow this same path.
The collaboration includes two different skins with alternate styles and two back bling items, gliders, pickaxes, and much more. Osaka’s cosmetic offerings will be available to purchase beginning on March 3. However, willing participants can compete in the upcoming Naomi Osaka Cup, where they’ll have a chance to unlock the outfit and spray for free ahead of its release date.

Naomi Osaka Cup Format & Dates
This tournament honors the arrival of Naomi Osaka in Fortnite and rewards players looking to test their skills. The Naomi Osaka Cup is a Solos tournament open to all seven regions and anyone that has reached account level 50 or higher. Once your region’s designated time arrives, you’ll be able to queue into a match to begin the tournament.
Participants can compete in a maximum of ten matches across a three-hour session. Final leaderboard placement depends on elimination and placement points. The top performers in each region will collect the complete Naomi Osaka and Dark Priestess Naomi Osaka set.

Naomi Osaka Cup Scoring System
The tournament scoring system follows a traditional route; a Victory Royale is worth 30 total points, and each elimination is one point. Ultimately, players should capitalize on placement points to advance up the leaderboard.

Each region’s top finishers will receive the contents of the Naomi Osaka Icon Series collaboration. Given its population, Europe offers participants 2,500 free sets for those placing between 1st and 2,500th. Players that earn at least eight points will collect a free spray.
