FIFA 22 Headliners Team 2 mini-release went live Jan. 9 as the expected, final promotional drop before the Team of the Year event.
EA Sports has a mini-release for FIFA Ultimate Team promotions in which three to four players are added to packs to freshen up the team in packs every weekend. Some mini-releases are praised, others are forgotten about. This Headliners Team 2 mini-release falls into the former, except for one item that’s sure to hold value for a majority of the game cycle.

Here’s a look at the Headliners Team 2 mini-release:
Trapp, Leao and Wilson all leave something to be desired. The real treasure of this mini-release is Seko Fofana. The midfielder has become a fan-favorite this FIFA Ultimate Team cycle, specifically his Ligue 1 Player of the Month item. EA Sports also released a Jonathan Clauss SBC which provides a valuable hard link to the player.
Considering Headliners are live items, Fofana looks to be one of the best midfielders in the game and will be for quite some time.
