Duraco Expands Product Offering with New LSE (Low Surface Energy) Tape…

Date:

Duraco, a leading manufacturer of tapes for the Point-of-Purchase (POP) market, has officially launched its first low surface energy (LSE) tape series. The series includes its trusted range of foam tapes Twin Stick®, Dubl Kote®, and DK Film® products proven over decades in the fast-paced POP industry, but with a new innovative LSE adhesive. The series consists of an adhesive formulated to stick to hard-to-bond surfaces that structural designers and engineers like to work with most, including LSE plastics, digital inks, powder-coated metals, and UV cured overprints.

When designers utilize these materials that have a complex surface to adhere to, they need an adhesive that can provide a strong bond and hold over time. Traditional adhesives require surface preparation that can be hazardous and messy. The new LSE tape series can easily be applied with minimal prep work, providing a quick, strong bond that will not lift or peel away over time.

Duraco’s new engineered LSE family includes Twin Stick® LSE, Dubl Kote® LSE, and DK Film® LSE. These tapes are very well known for designers in the POP industry and now are fully upgraded to provide greater flexibility. With the new innovative system, customers will receive the same exceptional performance and customer service Duraco offers, but with an adhesive that works even better for hard-to-bond surfaces.

The LSE high performance tape series is available in double-sided foam or film. Twin Stick LSE is available in pre-cut foam pieces, great for hand application; Dubl Kote LSE is provided on continuous rolls for easy hand or automatic machine application, and DK Film LSE is the solution for a thin bonding requirements.

Duraco conducted extensive research and development on the LSE series to see how they would perform with various LSE substrates like polypropylene and polyethylene. The tests prove Duraco LSE tapes quickly bond to clean LSE surfaces without the need for non-eco-friendly adhesive primers.

As Duraco has spent over 50 years perfecting its line of tapes for POP display assembly and production, it is no wonder why they are always top of customers’ minds. Their products guarantee high-performance, can be die-cut to application specifications, with most orders shipping same-day from stock. The new LSE series will only help to build its good name and reputation as Duraco expands its current product portfolio of POP-focused tapes. One of the key benefits of the LSE series is its ability to reduce costs, and assembly times, increase productivity and improve processes altogether.

The new series is live and ready to sample and test on your surfaces today!
