A new sales record has been set in Brisbane’s West End with a five bedroom penthouse selling for $7.016m — and it hasn’t even been built yet.
The ultra-luxe penthouse is one of just four planned in the Allere Collection within Sekisui House Australia’s $1.2b West Village master plan.
Which Property chief sales officer Colette Chester said the record price was not surprising given how much was going into amenities within the West Village development, its proximity to good schools, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank Parklands, and Brisbane CBD.
“They’re the size of a large family home, close to excellent schools, with added security and the abundance of West Village’s restaurants, retail and fresh food offering,” she said. “I’ve bought in West Village myself.”
West Village apartment and mixed-use developments CEO Hide Seguchi said the penthouses were designed with luxuries that included an enormous entertainer’s kitchen with choice of premium Miele and V-Zug appliances, natural Carrara stone and hidden butler’s pantry, to the multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining zones and spotted gum timber floors.
““Residences that attract record sales typically possess a rare combination of qualities,” he said.
“Chief among these are unrivalled location and amenity, extraordinary architecture, and a level of design detail that only comes with high-end interiors and finishes.”
“We expect to see more records tumble in the years to come.”
The penthouse includes secure basement storage and three car parks and its neighbour is priced from $6,950,900.
