Released earlier today, scope out the first official gameplay footage of Motive Studio and Electronic Arts’ Dead Space.
The first release of the series since 2013, this title will feature the same plot of the original. Players will follow the story of crewman Isaac Clarke, who finds himself on the planetary mining ship the USG Ishimura. The vessel’s crew has been attacked by mutated human corpses, and it’s up to Isaac to save the day.

Dead Space will be directed by Roman Campos-Oriola and Eric Baptizat, with Philippe Ducharme serving as producer and Mike Yazijian serving as artist. This survival horror game will be powered by the Frostbite engine, which was previously used to develop Star Wars: Squadrons and Star Wars Battlefront II.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 27, 2023.
