People are picking up the pieces from the vandalism and looting that has taken place among the peaceful protests in the U.S.
News reports indicate that many of the vandals were had different agendas from those protesting racial injustice in the U.S.
Already, many folks have started crowdfunding campaigns, primarily on the charity crowdfunding site GoFundMe, to help small, mostly minority, inner-city businesses rebuild and restock.
Per the Chicago Sun Times “My Block My Hood My City, a Chicago nonprofit, has set up a small business relief fund, while individuals from communities that have been affected by the looting have also stepped up.”
These small business owners have razor thin profit margins and many will simply lose their businesses unless the communities that they serve pitch in to help.
