Chase Bank signs mobile banking deal with Sensibill

Date:

Chase Bank has signed a partnership agreement with digital receipts management firm Sensibill.

Chase will roll out the Sensibill solution throughout 2020

The bank is aiming to make it easier for its customers to make returns, submit warranties and expenses, track their spending, and manage their finances.

Sensibill’s platform will be integrated into the Chase digital mobile banking app. The roll-out is ongoing and will be fully live to the 38 million Chase mobile users later in 2020.

“Chase has created a digital banking experience that makes it easier for consumers and businesses to manage their finances,” says Corey Gross, co-founder and CEO at Sensibill.

“Through our partnership with Chase, millions of customers will have access to a best-in-class product that solves the hassle of expense and receipt management.”

Sensibill raised $31.5 million in Series B funding in July 2019, and claims to work with more than 30 major banks, including Royal Bank of Scotland and Bank of Nova Scotia.

Chase, the consumer and commercial banking business of JP Morgan Chase & Co, operates 4,900 branches across 38 states in the US.

Rumours circulated earlier this year that the bank was planning to cut hundreds of jobs from the business, as part of a broader review of operations as customers increasingly access banking services through mobile phones or digital platforms.
