Allay Consulting is a seed-to-sale cannabis and hemp industry compliance consulting company with expertise in FDA, cGMP, OSHA, ISO, fire, and licensing that helps clients with compliance and best practices to ensure their products can get to consumers.
Cannabiz Media spoke with Kim Stuck, Founder of Allay Consulting, to learn more about how she and her sales team use the Cannabiz Media License Database to support their marketing and growth initiatives.
Why Does Allay Consulting Subscribe to the Cannabiz Media License Database?
Allay Consulting subscribes to the Cannabiz Media License Database to connect with cannabis license holder decision makers through targeted email marketing. “I just really like how you can cater your messages to the people you want to reach out to,” shares Kim.
In fact, it’s the vast collection of data and contact targeting capabilities that helps ensure each of Allay Consulting’s email marketing messages sent through the Cannabiz Media License Database has the best chance to get positive results.
As an example, Kim explains, “You can check a box that says, ‘This is for THC cannabis people who are doing manufacturing,’ and we can send an email to them that is about GMP – where they should be really focused on food safety or food safety plans.”
Hand-in-hand with the laser-focused targeting features, Kim and her team leverage the design capabilities built into the Cannabiz Media License Database email tool to improve campaign performance. She says, “What I really like is the email templates. They’re actually really easy to put together, and you can really cater to whatever audience you’re talking to.”
What’s Next for Allay Consulting?
Recently, Allay Consulting opened a second office in Oregon. The company currently operates in 19 states but can help cannabis and hemp companies in all 50 states.
In the near future, Kim expects more hemp companies to call on Allay Consulting for help getting in compliance with OSHA and new FDA rules. She explains, “If they get in compliance with 111 or 117 CFR for the FDA, they’re going to be in really good shape when those regulations start coming out.”
Additionally, Kim expects a greater focus on GMP and ISO certifications in the cannabis industry because companies look very good when they’re compliant with federal standards. “We don’t have a lot of growers who are GMP certified yet, but we’re working on it,” says Kim. “Some are coming through, but mostly, manufacturers are concerned with it. GMP is kind of the base level of certification. Most people who have ISO 22000 and 9001 – those are the ones that can export eventually. It will be a global market eventually, and those are the certifications you want to go for.”
