Supporting the best within the sport of padel
The Blockchain.com Miami Padel Open 2022 takes place this week from February 22 -27 and we’re excited to support this incredible tournament as title sponsor.
Taking place at Island Gardens Miami, the six-day lifestyle and entertainment sporting event is part of the World Padel Tour and will bring together the best within the sport of padel.
Padel is played by over 25 million people worldwide and is currently the second biggest sport in Argentina and Spain.
“Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, particularly in Latin America where we have an increasingly large footprint of customers, partners, and employees,” Blockchain.com CEO Peter Smith.
If you’re not yet familiar with Padel, you can think of it as a mixture between tennis and squash. It’s mainly played in pairs and within an enclosed court surrounded by walls.
