Bitfinex Pay has announced the release of version 0.7, introducing a range of new features, improvements, and fixes aimed at enhancing the merchant crypto gateway dashboard, according to blog.bitfinex.com.

Merchant Dashboard

The Bitfinex Pay Merchant Dashboard is an internal tool designed to provide merchants with powerful reports and features to help them manage their crypto gateways. The latest update brings several key enhancements:

New Features

• The Payout feature has been implemented, allowing merchants to add recipients such as providers, employees, and contractors, and seamlessly send payments to them. This feature is available to those with the Bitfinex Pay Pro plan.
• Users accessing from prohibited jurisdictions are now blocked from using the Bitfinex Pay Merchant Dashboard.

Improvements

• Data management in the Invoices menu has been optimized.
• A new event has been added for manual payments in the Invoice History.
• Design improvements have been made to the Payments menu and Invoice Details.
• Accents are now ignored in the dashboard’s search functionality.
• Translations have been added for the country selector in the Manual Invoice Generator.
• Off-chain instant payments now display “Off-Chain Transaction” in the Transaction Hash column.
• Various other design and efficiency improvements have been made across the dashboard.

Fixes

• Issues with export functionality in the Payments menu have been resolved.
• Problems with login after clearing cookies have been fixed.
• Internal notes in invoices are now properly saved and deleted when edited.
• Other minor bugs and issues have been addressed.

End Customer Payment Flow

Several improvements and fixes have been made to the end customer payment flow:

Improvements

• The “Pay with your Wallet” option has been re-enabled after resolving technical issues with Metamask and WalletConnect.
• A “Switch Network” button has been added to the Metamask payment flow to prompt users to switch to the correct blockchain network.
• WalletConnect integration has been upgraded to their V2 API.

Fixes

• Issues with WalletConnect and Ledger Live integration have been fixed, allowing for successful payments with USDt ETH.
• Various issues with Metamask API and manual payment processes have been corrected.

POS Web App

The design of invoice creation has been improved to accommodate large FIAT amounts, enhancing the usability of the POS web app.

Demo Dashboard

Improvements have been made to the demo dashboard, including the resolution of issues with customer name display in the Invoices menu and the visibility of auto-convert buttons in the Wallets menu.
